più di 600 ospiti hanno goduto della musica di Nicola Guiducci, dell’ ottimo Rosè Spumante metodo charmat del Principe Corsini, e del giardino illuminato ad hoc, la collezione Ethical Fashion Africa Project presentata nell’ambiente “agricolo” della grande limonaia ha fatto la sua bella mostra anche dall’esterno come incorniciata nei finestroni rinascimentali, sullo sfondo video proiezioni.

Artigianato e Palazzo
The XVIIth edition of the craftsmen fair ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO which will be held the 13th - 14th - 15th of may in the Garden of Palazzo Corsini of Florence
This three days exhibition of approximately 80 craftsmen who recreate their workshops in the beautiful historic formal italian garden and orangeries surrounded by hundreds of lemon trees in terracotta pots and II C.a.d. statues. In these “botteghe” the craftsmen will work and show their skill and secrets explaining ancient and preserved techniques of making bronze, wood, glass, iron, paper, marble objects. This exhibition has been organized since 1995 by Neri Torrigiani and backed by the Princess Giorgiana Corsini with the purpose of promoting the ancient work of the artisans and to show as many guilds as possible from gold leafing to jewel making, from printing to pottery, from scents to hat making, from restoration of marble inlaid furniture to glass making.

Fra Angelico to Leonardo

The first floor of the Uffizi Gallery, the Gabinetto Disegni and Stampe, hosts an exhibition dedicated to Italian design during the Renaissance. This major exhibition features 100 exquisite drawings by Raphael, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Verrocchio, to name but a few.
Italian Renaissance Drawings – Fra Angelico to Leonardo is a unique collaboration between the Uffizi Gallery and the British Museum, which puts Italian creative output under scrutiny again. The selected examples illustrate the trend towards depiction of movement and expression of emotion, often inspired by classical antiquity.
