From the distance, Marsiliana might look like a castle, but as you reach the top of the hill and drive through the gate the feeling is more that of an informal hamlet. To the left is the honey colored main house, with a fountain gurgling in the front courtyard.
The nearby seaside (14 kms) has made it attractive during the summer months (from May to October). In late autumn and winter Marsiliana becomes a wonderful place for combining cultural experiences with Tuscan Country Life. The vicinity of the sea softens the climate.
I would love to be able to describe the atmosphere of this house, which is so special to me. The solid house, the people I have known all my life, the unchanging view, the three palm trees swaying in the gentle breeze, it is as if time stands still here

350 mq Sleeps from 8 to 15, depending on the size of the party, this house ca host up to 21 by opening extra rooms. The description below is for a full party of 13
Ground floor

Living room with large fire place, TV room, dining room with fire place, kitchen, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.

First floor

1 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 2 twin bedroom with wash basin, 1 single bedroom with wash-basin, 2 bathrooms.

The patio at the front of the house, with its wisteria covered pergola, is a wonderful place to escape the heat of the summer. On the opposite side of the house is the terraced garden with its profusion of citrus trees and palms. A pathway through the garden leads to the swimming pool. The view from the garden and the house looks onto silvery olive groves, sweeps over the plain and across to the sea.

The house is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing machine, telephone, TV, CD player.
Service: household help and cook are available on request.
Closest shopping plus bank, bar and post office are at the bottom of the hill at less than one km.
The closest larger village is Albinia at 10 km away, where you will find an excellent supermarket and many specialized shops.

3. We enjoyed two wonderful weeks in the historical rooms of the castle Marsiliana Massimo and would like to say that we felt the stay as very nice and impressive. To live in the castle gave us the feeling, that peoples have lived, have worked and have written history in this marvellous rooms. Yes, we could travel back in time what on the one hand was exciting and in the other hand romantic and thrilling. The ambience, the love of nature, the pleasant rest and the nice pool allowed a restful vacation and also made our 25 wedding anniversary to an unforgettable experience. With pleasure we think back to this nice time and we can imagine very well to come again. We say thank you for all what you have done for us. Kind Regards
