Cantine Aperte

In occasione di Cantine Aperte Fattoria Le Corti aspetta i propri ospiti domenica 28 maggio 2006 dalle 10 alle 19.
Sulla strada che unisce Firenze a Siena, nel cuore del Chianti e a soli 16 Km dal capoluogo toscano, si estende la Fattoria Le Corti.
Al centro della Fattoria, sul poggio più alto, sorge la Villa rinascimentale, una tra le più belle residenze della Toscana.
In via straordinaria, in occasione di Cantine aperte sarà possibile visitare il Giardino all’Italiana, di Villa Le Corti.
Nel Rinascimento in Toscana il giardino era un luogo di incontri, di scambi, aperto e frequentato pubblicamente. Il giardino all’italiana era considerato il giardino ameno, con i fiori e i vasi e le rarità botaniche dell’epoca. Di proporzioni ridotte, scandito da un pratico disegno geometrico, era nascosto e riservato alla vita della famiglia.
Gli ospiti verranno guidati attraverso il frantoio e l’orciaia, una delle più grandi e antiche del Chianti Classico, e le ampie cantine, che si snodano nel terrapieno del giardino e sotto la Villa. Il visitatore scoprirà in questa passeggiata “sotterranea” i segreti di una cantina pensata e costruita nel 1600, in cui si applicano le più recenti tecniche di vinificazione.
Sarà possibile percorrere tutte le fasi del processo produttivo: i locali di vinificazione, le cantine di affinamento, la barriccaia e l’imbottigliamento.
A conclusione della visita la degustazioni di Vini Chianti Classico, olio extravergine d’oliva DOP Chianti Classico e i vini della Tenuta Marsiliana prodotti in Maremma, accompagnati da bruschette e crostini toscani offerti dall’azienda.

“Alla Corte del Vino” a great success

L’evento clou della due giorni di San Casciano è stata l’eccezionale asta di vini pregiati a Firenze, dove a suon di rilanci sono stati raccolti 56.300 euro per il fund raising in sostegno del Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Il ricavato dell’asta, guidata dalla storica casa d’aste Pandolfini, servirà a sponsorizzare la “Maratona Pianistica” dei giovani talenti della famosa accademia musicale “Incontri con il Maestro” di Imola. A suon di lanci e di rilanci, appassionati e collezionisti si sono disputati 250 bottiglie divise in 73 lotti, battuti nella cornice unica della Gipsoteca dell’Istituto d’Arte (le grandiose ex Scuderie Reali, erette nel 1865, nel Giardino di Boboli) dal critico d’arte Philippe Daverio.
